\n\tKey Quote: \u201cHonestly, I didn\u2019t grow up with any influence of watching horror. Nobody in my family or friends ever wanted me to watch horror, so it\u2019s funny. I feel like it just follows me around since Chucky. I love working in horror, I\u2019m starting to like watching it more,\u201d Howell on her young \u201cscream queen\u201d status. \u201cI didn\u2019t watch Carrie before. And I asked Mike after all those auditions and once I had the role if he wanted me to, like, \u2018Do you want me to read the book? Do you want me to do my research?\u2019 And he said, \u2018No.\u2019 We agreed it was better for me to stick to what I was doing, create my own version. Now, I\u2019ve seen the original, I watched it with him.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tFlanagan added, \u201cWe had a screening with the cast and crew when we wrapped it. We screened it in Vancouver at the Rio.\u201d<\/p>\n
