Unsurprisingly, he&#8217;s subjected it to his usual battery of &#8220;durability tests&#8221;, and then disassembled it &#8211; all in the video below, so grab some popcorn and enjoy the ride.<\/p>\n<p>The Honor Robot Phone&#8217;s gimbal camera is definitely very cool as a concept, but it turns out it&#8217;s actually quite hot to the touch. The glass on the front of the phone scratches at level 6 on the Mohs scale, and there are deeper grooves appearing at level 7, just as with every other display glass out there.<\/p>\n<p>The device&#8217;s frame is made from aluminum, and when subjected to a ton of dust and sand, the gimbal can&#8217;t come out of its enclosure anymore, perhaps unsurprisingly. So the &#8220;robot&#8221; arm is not truly dust-proof. The Robot Phone does however survive the bend test with flying colors.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, the vapor chamber is glued to the back of the screen, so basically Honor is using the screen to dissipate heat. The 200MP periscope telephoto camera has OIS, and the &#8220;robot&#8221; arm is definitely not easy to remove from the device&#8217;s body.
