{"id":626402,"date":"2026-09-16T12:12:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T12:12:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/626402\/"},"modified":"2026-09-16T12:12:10","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T12:12:10","slug":"travellers-reminded-to-update-myica-app-from-sept-30-to-access-enhanced-sg-arrival-card-singapore-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/626402\/","title":{"rendered":"Travellers reminded to update MyICA app from Sept 30 to access enhanced SG Arrival Card, Singapore News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Travellers are reminded to update their MyICA mobile app from Sept 30 to access the enhanced Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC), the \u00a0Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said in a social media post on Wednesday (Sept 16).<\/p>\n<p>Those travelling by land and using the MyICA app to generate their QR code should also update the app accordingly before making their submission.<\/p>\n<p>The enhanced arrival card is currently only available on ICA&#8217;s website.<\/p>\n<p>The advisory comes after ICA announced a refreshed SGAC on Aug 20 with enhanced features including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiaone.com\/singapore\/singapore-arrival-card-new-interface-features-ica\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">more languages and passport autofill<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The SGAC with electronic health declaration is a mandatory submission all travellers must make before arriving in Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>Only those transiting through Singapore, and residents such as Singapore citizens, permanent residents, long-term pass holders need not do so while travelling through Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints.<\/p>\n<p>The new SGAC interface will offer 19 languages, adding seven more from the current 12: English, Malay, Bengali, German, French, Vietnamese, Hindi, Tamil, Thai, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Korean.<\/p>\n<p>AsiaOne understands that the new language options are: Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Dutch, Tagalog, Italian, Spanish and Russian.<\/p>\n<p>Travellers&#8217; can also easily and quickly enter their personal information using the new passport scan autofill feature.<\/p>\n<p>This new feature makes a user&#8217;s journey more seamless, as compared to the existing process of using the &#8220;retrieve with passport&#8221; and &#8220;retrieve with visa reference number&#8221; features currently listed under the lead traveller section.<\/p>\n<p>ICA said the refresh will offer travellers a user-friendly design with &#8220;smoother, easier navigation&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The enhanced SGAC was rolled out on Aug 26.<\/p>\n<p>[[nid:735355]]<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiaone.com\/singapore\/mailto:laili.abdeen@asiaone.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">laili.abdeen@asiaone.com<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Travellers are reminded to update their MyICA mobile app from Sept 30 to access the enhanced Singapore Arrival&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":626403,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[16],"tags":[155303,61,1629,60,202,266051,266052,80,2521],"class_list":["post-626402","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mobile","tag-ica","tag-ie","tag-immigration","tag-ireland","tag-mobile","tag-myica","tag-singapore-arrival-card","tag-technology","tag-travel"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/626402","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=626402"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/626402\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/626403"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=626402"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=626402"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=626402"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
