\n\tWhen Drake<\/a> announced plans for FOMO,<\/a> plenty of theories were floated on social media by rap fans about what to expect. The 6 God\u2019s \u201cnot so short film\u201d arrived on Tuesday night (Sept. 15), just four months after his May trifecta of albums.<\/p>\n

\n\tLasting just over an hour, Fear of Missing Out is similar to Drizzy\u2019s ICEMAN livestream,<\/a> which essentially saw him turn portions of the short film into a visual album for tracks from his HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR albums.<\/p>\n

\n\tBut that wasn\u2019t it, as Drake completed side missions throughout the clip, which featured appearances from Sexyy Red<\/a>; Stunna Sandy; his mother, Sandra Graham; NBA star Kevin Durant; model Winnie Harlow; Lena the Plug; his \u201cgoth baddie\u201d and more.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe couldn\u2019t put together an event like FOMO without some new music, which saw him debut unreleased collaborations with Don Toliver,<\/a> PartyNextDoor<\/a> and Yeat. <\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tIn all, there are nine new tracks sprinkled throughout the short film, including his anticipated interpolation of Ella Langley\u2019s <\/a>\u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d smash. <\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing a premiere of FOMO in Toronto, Drake revealed <\/a>that he\u2019s set to hit the road again in 2027 for a world tour, which will include his first North American trek since 2023. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cObviously, tour is coming and there\u2019s other things on the horizon, some big shows,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019ll be out 2027 to see everybody again across the world\u2026 We\u2019ll see you on tour soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEven after feeding fans three albums, The Boy is still clearly inspired creatively in the studio and has continued working on new ideas, but this feels like more of a care package he wanted to get out, rather than kicking off his next era. <\/p>\n

\n\tUnfortunately, Drake made FOMO private on his YouTube page<\/a> after the short film\u2019s debut. Here\u2019s everything we learned from Drake\u2019s short film. <\/p>\n

\tNew Don Toliver x Drake Is Here & It\u2019s a Banger<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake and Don have been circling each other for months and dropping hints about a potential collab on social media. That seemed to be crystallized when Drizzy popped out at Don\u2019s OCTANE World Tour stop in Toronto in August to perform ICEMAN cuts for the first time in an arena setting. The colossal collab, tentatively titled \u201cCold Shoulder,\u201d needs an official release ASAP. <\/p>\n

\tDrake & Don Toliver Are \u2018Choosin\u2019 Texas\u2019<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake\u2019s having fun again and it\u2019s showing. The 6 God hasn\u2019t been shy about being an Ella Fella,<\/a> which saw Drizzy attend an Ella Langley concert earlier in September. After teasing a remix of Langley\u2019s 22-week<\/a> No. 1 Hot 100 <\/a>hit \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas,\u201d the full version was premiered during FOMO. The OVO boss shrewdly interpolates Langley\u2019s country anthem on the hook of his R&B-leaning track, which invites Don Toliver into the fold, taking the woozy song to another level. Drake has made a habit of proving time and time again that he can pull on something from another artist and creatively make it his own. <\/p>\n

\tWorld Tour 2027<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake is back outside. Drizzy confirmed in an interview<\/a> at a FOMO screening that he\u2019s hitting the road for a world tour in 2027. It\u2019s still unclear if he\u2019ll be taking over stadiums or making an arena run. The 6 God\u2019s last U.S. trek was in 2023 with It\u2019s All a Blur Tour.<\/p>\n

\tEnding Credits Welcome Back Mob Boss Drake<\/p>\n

\n\tMob boss Drake is back. On an unreleased cut played during the final credits, he takes aim at his detractors and appears to take a possible shot at Kendrick Lamar with some shrewd wordplay. \u201cThey tell me that my circle getting small huh\/ But b\u2014h we from the Dot, you can\u2019t compare to us\/ F\u2013k all that circle s\u2013t, I\u2019m squaring up,\u201d he raps. <\/p>\n

\tKevin Durant Is an OVO Loyalist<\/p>\n

\n\tNBA star Kevin Durant is as loyal as they come in his friendship with Drake. KD popped up for an appearance in the livestream while rocking an icy OVO owl chain. <\/p>\n

\tDrake Appears to Still Have 2Pac\u2019s Ring<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake purchased 2Pac\u2019s crown ring <\/a>at a 2023 Sotheby\u2019s auction for $1 million, and he appeared to flex it on the FOMO stream. <\/a>\u201cYou know whose ring that is,\u201d he rhetorically asked.<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake is the real Tony Stark. He threw on an authentic Iron Man suit while walking through the Toronto CNE fair with Loe Shimmy for the \u201cI\u2019m Spent\u201d visual. Footage initially emerged of Drake in the superhero suit earlier in September. <\/p>\n

\tR&B Drake Returns With New Tunes<\/p>\n

\n\tIt wouldn\u2019t be a Drizzy live stream without some new music. The 6 God teased a woozy track welcoming the return of R&B Drake, fresh off a heartbreak. \u201cEvery time somebody ties me down, somehow I become undone for real,\u201d he sings. This could\u2019ve been a fit on MAID OF HONOUR, or teases the road ahead in his next era. <\/p>\n

Oceanside boozing, twerking and boat rides fill the scene with Sandy rocking an OVO chain as their HABIBTI collaboration \u201cOutside Tweaking\u201d plays. This mirrors the visual album Drake essentially made with the ICEMAN stream in May ahead of the album landing on streaming services hours later.<\/p>\n

\tSexyy Red Makes an Appearance<\/p>\n

\n\tFind someone who supports you as much as Sexyy Red loves Drake. She makes the first guest appearance in FOMO, which could double as a visual for their \u201cCheetah Print\u201d collaboration on MAID OF HONOUR. <\/p>\n

\tDrake Is Testing the Country Waters<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake is one to always embrace his influences, and he\u2019s been on a country kick in recent months. HABIBTI opener \u201cRusty Intro\u201d leaned into the genre and Drizzy built on that with another unreleased FOMO cut, which finds the 6 God ruminating about the vices leaving a dent in his life over an electric guitar. <\/p>\n

\n\tAbout a year and a half after releasing their $ome $exy $ongs 4 U collab album, OVO running mates Drake and PartyNextDoor reunite for an intoxicating track from the vault, which was premiered during FOMO.<\/a> <\/p>\n

\tThe Good Old Days<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake headed to legendary locations from throughout his career during the visual for \u201cMiss My Dawgs\u201d with Yeat. Scenes included shots from the music videos for \u201cGod\u2019s Plan,\u201d \u201cWhat\u2019s Next,\u201d \u201cHotline Bling,\u201d \u201cStarted From the Bottom,\u201d \u201cWork,\u201d \u201cHeadlines\u201d and \u201cToosie Slide\u201d as well as the Take Care album cover restaurant.<\/p>\n
