{"id":626622,"date":"2026-09-16T17:20:11","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T17:20:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/626622\/"},"modified":"2026-09-16T17:20:11","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T17:20:11","slug":"greenlight-for-adare-glamping-pods-for-ryder-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/626622\/","title":{"rendered":"Greenlight for Adare glamping pods for Ryder Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Planning permission has been granted for temporary glamping pods in Adare to serve the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/maintopics\/ryder-cup_topic-5084399.html\">Ryder Cup<\/a> golf competition next year.<\/p>\n<p>Pamper the Camper Ltd lodged plans in July for temporary event facilities across two sites at Graigue and Cummeen, Adare.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The accommodation will be located to the west of the town at the junction of the N21 and R519 roads.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">According to the application, Site A would include a tent area, glamping accommodation, a bar\/lounge, a wellness area, a picnic space, and sanitary and water facilities, while Site B would provide campervan parking and car parking.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">All structures would be removed and the lands reinstated after the event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Limerick City and County Council this week granted permission for the development, imposing six conditions.
