The story follows the true-crime story of Lizzie Borden, a repressed daughter, portrayed by Ella Beatty, and her rebellious live-in maid, Bridget Sullivan. Played by Vicky Krieps (who was given the nickname \u201cMaggie\u201d), the two find themselves trapped in a house built on humiliation and psychological cruelty. Together, they escape into a dark fantasy of illicit desire, power, and bloody revenge. The gruesome unsolved murders that follow don\u2019t just shock the world\u2014they give birth to an icon who refuses to live imprisoned in a cage, choosing instead to forge her own legend: shocking, monstrous, and gloriously free.<\/p>\n
