walker: A while ago you teased that Deadpool and Reed interact in Avengers: Doomsday, do you know if that\u2019s still happening?<\/p>\n
Alex Perez: The interaction, I believe, already leaked in the form of an image. We\u2019ll just have to see if it plays out.<\/p>\n
StressedJess: Hello, Alex! Thank you for this! Do you know what Namor\u2019s dynamic with the Fantastic Four in Doomsday will be?<\/p>\n
Alex Perez: Include Shuri and the Wakandans in that dynamic with them. And Sue\u2019s experience in diplomatic relations with dignitaries will come in handy.<\/p>\n
walker: Hey Alex, thanks as always for doing this. What can you say about Sue\u2019s arc in Avengers: Doomsday?<\/p>\n
Alex Perez: It\u2019s a pleasure! Sue\u2019s arc is a very interesting one to see develop. Mainly because Sue will be one of those few characters who\u2019s going to have a personal relationship with Doom and will understand what his motivation is. And it\u2019ll put her in the difficult position of trying to sympathize with her friend while also trying to protect her family.\u00a0<\/p>\n
CalmTitan: Hi Alex. Appreciate this as always! With the recent Doomsday reshoots being more focused on Sam Wilson, can you give some clues as to what was shot involving the character?<\/p>\n
Alex Perez: It was an action sequence. It involves a character that in the last few days has made a resurgence in the rumor mill.<\/p>\n

CalmTitan: My concern is that some characters\u2019 abilities may be overlooked to highlight others. Brave New World significantly upgraded Sam Wilson\u2019s kit with full vibranium, kinetic-energy-absorbing wings, and his helmet. Will any of these upgrades be forgotten or underutilized in Doomsday?<\/p>\n
Alex Perez: They\u2019re not going to be things that will be focused on in the movie, I\u2019m afraid.<\/p>\n
Astropologetic: What scene in Avengers: Doomsday do you think will leave people shocked and possibly in tears aside from the already obvious ones?<\/p>\n
Alex Perez: What I can say is that Marvel pushes the envelope a lot in terms of what they\u2019ve done before in the hopes of subverting audience expectations. Even if you\u2019ve read \u201cleaks,\u201d there\u2019s a very decent chance you\u2019ll be surprised in the way the film executes what\u2019s being done come December.<\/p>\n
aspksss: There have been rumors (I\u2019m not sure where they originated) that the The Ancient One and Death are actually two of the Latverian witches. I really hope that isn\u2019t the case, because personally, I don\u2019t find it very logical. Back in April, you hinted that Wanda was one of the masked Latverian witches. Could you give us a hint about who else might be hiding behind the witches\u2019 masks?<\/p>\n
Alex Perez: So The Ancient One and Death are definitely not the Latverian Witches. Aside from the fact that the Ancient One is dead, Death simply doesn\u2019t care, and she\u2019d never willingly serve under someone. As for a hint under the identity of the Latverian witches, most of their identities have technically already been revealed. But I think it\u2019s very important for people to remember that these witches (like most) have a very specific ability, like most covens have. Could be divination, could be blood magic, could be earth magic, could be alchemy, could be dark magic. Who\u2019s to say that these witches are who they say they are and aren\u2019t actually just playing a very elaborate trick?<\/p>\n
Jay: We know that we\u2019ll be seeing an older Franklin in Avengers: Doomsday. Are we getting a multi-year timeskip in the middle of the film, or is his growth going to be accelerated via magic (I.e., Billy & Tommy)?<\/p>\n
Alex Perez: Haven\u2019t heard a single thing about the older Franklin (13 y\/o).<\/p>\n
Avengers: Secret Wars<\/p>\n
lilm3gan: Is Marvel really going to ignore Captain Marvel and Tom Holland as leads for Secret Wars for Hugh Jackman\u2019s Wolverine and Tobey Maguire\u2019s Spider-Man?<\/p>\n
Alex Perez: There\u2019s been a lot of talk that the leads for Secret Wars are Wolverine and Tobey\u2019s Spider-Man. There is no ignored lead. And there is no \u201cjust one lead or focus.\u201d If the Russos know what to do, it\u2019s how to balance these characters. Trust.<\/p>\n
chance3225: There\u2019s rumors that Secret Wars will have some characters brainwashed as Barons; do you know which characters will be Barons?<\/p>\n
Alex Perez: I have heard some names. Look to the 2016 Hickman run for clues.<\/p>\n

Also check out: Secret Wars Comics Reading Guide<\/a><\/p>\n pin: Is Agatha Harkness going to be in Avengers: Secret Wars or has she been sidelined for the time being?<\/p>\n Alex Perez: I heard a rumor about Agatha being in the movie as a companion, but we\u2019ll find out if that\u2019s the case later on when they start filming soon.<\/p>\n laser_gum: For Avengers: Secret Wars, do you think we will get a reaction from Tom Holland\u2019s Spider-Man, Rhodey, and other characters to Doctor Doom\u2019s face being the face of their old friend?<\/p>\n Alex Perez: Too early to tell.<\/p>\n Michael:\u00a0At the end of Avengers: Secret Wars, do you think the restored\/restarted universe will be some type of hybrid\/fusion between an entirely new reality and the current MCU? It would be an interesting direction to instead of restoring the current MCU (see the Arrowverse after Crisis on Infinite Earths) and a completely new world, with certain continuing characters remaining the same (look at Peacemaker season 1 and 2 to better illustrate the latter point).<\/p>\n Alex Perez: I think that would be a very likely possibility. At least it will be that way for some characters.<\/p>\n Michael: When we eventually see Thanos in Avengers: Secret Wars, will it be the 2018 version (who got off relatively lightly at the beginning of Endgame) or a variant we haven\u2019t seen before (ex. King Thanos)?<\/p>\n Alex Perez: IF he\u2019s in the movie, chances are it\u2019s a variant.<\/p>\n Black Panther<\/p>\n chance3225: Do you know how they will explain T\u2019Challa Jr. suddenly being in his mid-20\u2019s?<\/p>\n Alex Perez: Universe-reshaping shenanigans.<\/p>\n Captain Marvel<\/p>\n lilm3gan: In a personal opinion, do you believe a Captain Marvel 3 is possible after Secret Wars (if Carol doesn\u2019t die in Secret Wars); hopefully diving into the Rogue vs. Captain Marvel storyline?<\/p>\n Alex Perez: I think it\u2019s possible.<\/p>\n YAH: Hi Alex! Do you still think we get a Champions project?<\/p>\n Alex Perez: Yes. It\u2019s coming. And when we get VisionQuest, you\u2019ll see the Vision (and the vision).<\/p>\n YAH: Do you think Billy will get a chance to shine in Avengers: Secret Wars?<\/p>\n Alex Perez: Yes. For sure.<\/p>\n RedGyarados2010: Hi Alex!
