A slick assist before half time by Republic of Ireland striker Troy Parrott helped Real Betis pick up a fifth win of the season on Thursday night.<\/p>\n
The Seville club were 1-0 victors over Getafe at the Benito Villamarin, with the win helping Betis move up to third place in the La Liga table, and within three points of leaders Barcelona after six rounds of action.<\/p>\n
Parrott, who was an unused substitute in their win at Villareal on Monday, came up with the killer pass to help Betis to victory.<\/p>\n
The Dublin forward unselfishly teed up winger Abde Ezzalzouli for the only goal of the game, with Parrott coming close to the break through twice earlier, first from the centre circle, and with another chance inside the box.<\/p>\n
Betis will travel to take on Deportivo de A Coruna on Sunday night (5.30pm Irish time) in their final domestic clash before the month long international break, where Parrott will be seeking to help Ireland’s UEFA Nations League aspirations.<\/p>\n
