Fontaines D.C.<\/a> have shared the full tracklist for their upcoming fifth album \u2018Dopamine Chamber\u2019, revealing that one song is a collaboration with Rosal\u00eda<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As well as lead single \u2018Marianne<\/a>\u2018 along with two new fan favourites recently debuted live in the form of \u2018Six Shot Morning<\/a>\u2018 and \u2018Happy For You<\/a>\u2018, the full album\u2019s song list also has a surprise in a duet with Spanish pop pioneer Rosal\u00eda on \u2018Where Is Gone?\u2019<\/p>\n

This marks the band first ever guest vocalist on a track, despite frontman Grian Chatten<\/a> long-harbouring a desire to work with Lana Del Rey<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The tracklist for \u2018Dopamine Chamber\u2019 is:\u00a0<\/p>\n

The follow-up to 2024\u2019s acclaimed and Mercury<\/a>-nominated \u2018Romance\u2019<\/a> follows the band\u2019s recent contributions to the Peaky Blinders: Immortal Man\u00a0soundtrack<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0War Child \u2018Help(2)\u2019 album<\/a>. \u2018Dopamine Chamber\u2019 moves deeper into \u201cdarker and more synthetic sounds\u201d, and searches for pleasure amid peril \u201cin a world tipping towards collapse\u201d from threats in digital and artificial worlds, as the band shared in an official statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe album itself is a dopamine chamber,\u201d said Chatten. \u201cYou step inside and we test these different mind or mood-altering pieces of music on you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The frontman, who visited Venice, Vienna and Sicily in search of lyrical inspiration, continued: \u201cI think \u2018Romance\u2019 was maybe 60 per cent human and 40 per cent corrupted by automation, and a loss of feeling. This one feels more like 60 per cent corrupted \u2013 the mask is wearing the face a little more. I felt it would be more powerful to leave the hope out and reflect the ugliness honestly. This one needed to feel more like a catastrophic warning.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chatten added: \u201cThere\u2019s a poignant sense of us being on the brink of some other kind of form of humanity, or non-humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leaning into the themes of the record, bassist Conor \u2018Deego\u2019 Deegan shared: \u201cOur albums have always questioned a sense of place. First Dublin, then being away from Dublin, and then trying to find the romance elsewhere. On this record, the question became: where do you escape to?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Dopamine Chamber\u2019 will arrive on October 16, ahead of a UK and European arena tour<\/a> before a run of stadium and outdoor dates in 2027<\/a> with Little Simz<\/a> and Viagra Boys<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This follows a huge summer for the Dublin band, who stepped up to headline both Reading & Leeds and Electric Picnic.<\/p>\n
