A distraught Rafferty arrives at Ger’s door in Friday’s Fair City on RT\u00c9 One and the RT\u00c9 Player.<\/p>\n

“Scout’s gone!” says Rafferty. “He’s not in his cot.”<\/p>\n

“Where is he, then?” asks Ger.<\/p>\n

“I don’t know,” replies Rafferty. “I’m going to call the Guards!”<\/p>\n

“Wait!” says Ger.<\/p>\n

What Rafferty doesn’t know is that his grandson’s kidnap has been staged by the child’s own parents, Hayley and James, as part of a scam to get money to pay back Ger – and Ger knows exactly what is going on.<\/p>\n
