\n\tThe \u201cFar Cry<\/a>\u201d TV series at FX<\/a> is continuing to build out an all-star cast. <\/p>\n

\n\tVariety has learned that Brendan Gleeson<\/a> (\u201cThe Banshees of Inisherin,\u201d \u201cIn Bruges\u201d), Jennifer Jason Leigh<\/a> (\u201cThe Hateful Eight,\u201d FX\u2019s \u201cFargo\u201d), Hamish Linklater (\u201cWidow\u2019s Bay,\u201d \u201cMidnight Mass\u201d), Sam Spruell (\u201cA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,\u201d FX\u2019s \u201cAlien: Earth\u201d), and Jamie Demetriou (\u201cStath Lets Flats,\u201d \u201cThe Afterparty\u201d) are all set to appear in the first season of the series, which is based on the video game franchise of the same name.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe five new additions join previously announced lead and co-creator Rob Mac and fellow cast members Lizzy Caplan and Steve Buscemi.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe series was first reported to be set up at FX<\/a> in November 2025 from creators Noah Hawley and Mac. Exact plot and character details remain under wraps, but the series will follow an anthology format like the \u201cFar Cry\u201d games and feature a different cast and setting each season.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFar Cry\u201d will air on FX, Hulu, and Disney+ internationally. Mac will executive produce under his More Better Productions banner, while Hawley will executive produce under his overall deal with FX and Disney Entertainment Television via 26 Keys. Simon Emanuel will also executive produce along with Emilia Serrano for 26 Keys, Nick Frenkel for 3 Arts, Monica Macer, Peter Calloway, John Campisi, and Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin and Austin Dill for Ubisoft Film & Television. The series will be produced by FX Productions.<\/p>\n

\n\tGleeson is repped by CAA and Principal Entertainment. Leigh is repped by by CAA and Untitled Entertainment. Linklater is repped by Untitled Entertainment, Gersh and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole. Spruell is repped by Lou Coulson Associates and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
