\n\tTo celebrate the 20th anniversary of Guillermo del Toro<\/a>\u2018s fantastical film \u201cPan\u2019s Labyrinth,\u201d Insight Editions is publishing two official books, \u201cPan\u2019s Labyrinth: The Complete Screenplay\u201d<\/a> and \u201cGuillermo del Toro\u2019s Pan\u2019s Labyrinth: Inside the Creation of a Modern Fairytale \u2014 20th Anniversary Edition.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cInside the Creation of a Modern Fairy Tale\u201d was written in close collaboration with del Toro. It covers all aspects of the filmmaking journey, from his early story ideas through the all-important casting process, the challenges of production and the overwhelmingly positive critical response. Director Steven Spielberg provides the book\u2019s foreword. A signed limited-edition version is also available exclusively on Insight Editions.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tIt also features rare concept art and candid on-set photography. The book also contains interviews with key contributors \u2014 including the director; stars Ivana Baquero, Sergi L\u00f3pez, Maribel Verd\u00fa and Doug Jones; producers Alfonso Cuar\u00f3n and Bertha Navarro; and director of photography Guillermo Navarro.<\/p>\n

\n\tA limited editon of 500 copies\u2013\u2013the first 100 signed by del Toro himself\u2013\u2013 will be available. Each is casebound in Svepa leatherette with gilded edges, gold foil, blind debossing, and housed in a debossed slipcase. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Complete Screenplay\u201d features the full shooting script of the acclaimed fantasy film, written and directed by del Toro. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPan\u2019s Labyrinth\u201d follows a young girl named Ofelia (Ivana Baquero), who travels into a fantasy world after fleeing the danger of 1944 Francoist Spain in the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War. While there, she befriends a mysterious faun and navigates the realm of deadly beasts. Starring alongside Baquero are Doug Jones, Maribel Verd\u00fa and Sergi L\u00f3pez. <\/p>\n

\n\tTo mark the anniversary, Cineverse, in conjunction with Fathom Entertainment, is bringing the film back to theaters Oct. 9, with the screenings in 3D and HDR by Barco. Tickets are on sale now<\/a>.<\/p>\n
