Perth\u2019s coastline is a prominent feature in work by this year\u2019s City of Subiaco Photographic Awards winners.<\/p>\n

Fremantle photographer Kerry Faulkner was crowned overall winner by the judging panel, comprising experienced Subiaco-based photographers.<\/p>\n

Glenda Gore won the open category for her work Cottesloe Mermaids and Edisson Suarez took out the new AI category for Tiny Universe.<\/p>\n

The kids prize winner was 11-year-old Indigo Hardisty for Summer\u2019s Sunset (my sister\u2019s name is Summer), and 14-year-old Miley Jasper\u2019s photo Fallen in Light was the youth winner.<\/p>\n

Subiaco resident Joseph Rae won the resident\u2019s prize for Bodyslam.<\/p>\n

Mayor David McMullen congratulated all photographers who took part.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe city\u2019s Photographic Awards are a longstanding part of our cultural calendar, giving photographers of all ages and experience levels a platform to share their creativity and perspective,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year\u2019s winning and highly commended works showcase a breadth of talent, from our youngest competition entrants through to experienced photographers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Finalists\u2019 works are on display at Subiaco Library until September 27.<\/p>\n

Visitors can see the exhibition and vote for their favourite photograph in the People\u2019s Choice Award.<\/p>\n
