\n\tMiley, Bass Persuades<\/p>\n

\n\tAhead of her 10th studio album, the pop star ushered in some changes \u2014 as she\u2019s wont to do. She signed a new record deal with Atlantic Records and is just Miley now, no Cyrus. While the album\u2019s lead single and title track is a full-on dance-pop banger, second single \u201cLet\u2019s Get Married\u201d slows it down as Miley adoringly sings of wanting to wed her fianc\u00e9 Maxx Morando. The rest of the album\u2019s 10 tracks (including a \u201cBass Persuades Remix\u201d) fluctuate between these two realms, largely united by the idea that Miley is, without a doubt, in love and looking forward to all that is yet to come her way as a result. \u2014 LYNDSEY HAVENS<\/p>\n

\n\tCarly Rae Jepsen, Day and Night<\/p>\n

\n\tPop star Carly Rae Jepsen is on her eighth studio album \u2014 and as a gift, it\u2019s a two-for-one special. The two-disc album fittingly features one set that\u2019s full of \u201cdaytime\u201d songs that explore varied tempos and spotlight songwriting, while the second set is purely sundown dance-pop productions. Together, the 24 songs make for a stellar one-and-a-half hour long sonic journey. \u2014 L.H.<\/p>\n

\n\tRos\u00e9, \u201cNew Trick\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRos\u00e9\u2019s latest is a pop-rock hit that is begging for a remix with Olivia Rodrigo, with its grungy, high-energy production and scream-along chorus bookended by syrupy sweet vocals on each verse. As Ros\u00e9 works on her upcoming second full-length album<\/a>, she\u2019s teamed back up with Amy Allen \u2014 and the two co-wrote \u201cNew Trick\u201d together just a few days after this year\u2019s Met Gala in May (though a statement confirms this isn\u2019t the album\u2019s official comeback single, which will come next year). Though, considering how well the new tricks on this single land, here\u2019s hoping she explores it more on whatever comes next. \u2014 L.H.<\/p>\n

\n\tFreya Skye, \u201cbad taste\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRising pop star Freya Skye\u2019s latest is an ode to not knowing how to pick \u2019em \u2014 and owning it. As she told Billboard<\/a> of the song, \u201c\u2018Bad Taste\u2019 is the first time I was a bit less serious. What meets the eye is a playful, kind of sarcastic tone that I\u2019ve never gone into before.\u201d Now that she has, she\u2019s hoping the song will get her fans excited \u201cfor the next shift\u2026I do think it will feel more elevated than anything before.\u201d \u2014 L.H.<\/p>\n

\n\tKim Petras, Detour (Rare N\u2019 Deluxe) <\/p>\n

\n\tNearly four months after the release of her third album Detour this May, Petras is sharing its deluxe version led by focus track \u201cAutobahn,\u201d one of four new songs. The melodic pop song is the most downtempo of the deluxe additions (most in line with \u201cJeep\u201d from the original album) and is a refreshing peek into Petra\u2019s lesser-shown artistic side. \u2014 L.H.<\/p>\n

\n\tRiley Green, That\u2019s Just Me<\/p>\n

\n\tAs Jessica Nicholson writes in Billboard\u2018s Tracks Ranked<\/a> of Riley Green\u2019s new set: \u201che\u2019s remained focused on the main thing: continuing to cement his reputation as a musical purveyor of timeless-feeling country songs, and a writer on many of them, in the tradition of artists such as Alan Jackson and Toby Keith.\u201d His fourth full-length, which explores heartbreak and the freedom that comes with it, comes after Don\u2019t Mind If I Do, which entered the top 10 on Top Country Albums<\/a> last year. \u2014 L.H.<\/p>\n

\n\tAZ Chike, No Rest for the Wicked<\/p>\n

\n\tAlmost exactly two years after he stole the show on \u201cPeekaboo,\u201d a standout track from Kendrick Lamar\u2019s Grammy-winning GNX album, AZ Chike has finally unveiled his debut solo studio album. With the South Central LA rapper at the helm of a creative team comprised of Lamar, Sounwave, Pharrell, Hit-Boy, JMSN, Terrace Martin and Tyler, the Creator, No Rest for the Wicked arrives as mature, clear-eyed introduction to an MC with boundless ambition and a West Coast-honoring style that\u2019s unafraid of evolution. \u2014 KYLE DENIS<\/p>\n

\n\tTravis Scott, \u201cRHYNO\u201d (from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album)<\/p>\n

\n\tWhat do you get when you throw Travis Scott and Daft Punk\u2019s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo in a blender? Apparently, one of the first six singles from the forthcoming soundtrack for the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto VI video game.
