Pro-Palestine protests are planned outside the US stadium where Ed Sheeran is due to play on Saturday, as tickets for the show were made available for as low as $76 (\u20ac66.30). <\/p>\n
Earlier this week, Irish acts Aaron Rowe and Beoga, Irish-American solo artist Finneas, and Denmark’s Lukas Graham announced they were leaving their guest slots on Sheeran’s tour in solidarity with the American rapper Macklemore, who was removed from the tour over his comments about Gaza.<\/p>\n
Sheeran, 35, began his tour in Auckland, New Zealand, in January.<\/p>\n
It is set to wrap up in Mexico City in December, with 18 shows still scheduled across North and South America.<\/p>\n
Sheeran is next due to play in Philadelphia on Saturday night.<\/p>\n
However, tickets are now being sold for as low as $76 (\u20ac66.30).<\/p>\n
Ahead of that show, local pro-Palestinian groups have also said they will be protesting outside the venue, Lincoln Financial Field.<\/p>\n
In a post shared on Instagram, The Philly Palestine Coalition and Shut Down D&Z shared plans to “take to the streets to return the conversation to Palestine, and return Philadelphia to action”.<\/p>\n
The minimum price for tickets to Sheeran’s show in Foxborough, Massachusetts on 25 September rises to $112 (\u20ac97.71).<\/p>\n
Although Sheeran’s two shows in Hollywood, Florida, on 29 and 30 October have the minimum ticket prices currently advertised for $339 (\u20ac295.74), the price drops again for his final show in Tampa on 7 November.<\/p>\n
Tickets for that show are selling for a minimum of $87 (\u20ac75.90).<\/p>\n
For his final show of the tour, in Mexico City, the current prices sit at a minimum of 3,550 pesos (\u20ac179.53).<\/p>\n
On Monday, Macklemore posted on Instagram claiming Sheeran and his team had “made the decision to remove” him from the Loop Tour.<\/p>\n
In a response on the social media platform on Tuesday, Sheeran said Macklemore’s departure from the tour was the promoter’s decision and not his.<\/p>\n
He said “upcoming tour dates had communicated that they would pull the shows if he was still supporting”, and added Robert Kraft, owner of Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts, was among them.<\/p>\n

Sheeran continued: “I am not complicit.<\/p>\n
“I have my personal views on this devastating conflict.<\/p>\n
“Just because I choose not to speak publicly, it doesn’t mean I don’t have them, and it doesn’t mean I don’t care.<\/p>\n
“Nor does it mean I don’t support causes in my own personal way.”<\/p>\n
The Shape of You singer said he was “appalled by the conflict between Israel and Palestine”.<\/p>\n
He added that he respected Macklemore “as an artist”.<\/p>\n
