Bad Apples is a comedy-thriller film directed by Jonatan Etzler in his English-language debut. The screenplay was written by Jess O’Kane, based on Rasmus Andersson’s debut novel De O\u00f6nskade.<\/p>\n

The film follows Maria, a primary school teacher whose classroom is dominated by an incredibly disruptive pupil.<\/p>\n

It’s one of her darker performances to date, as the role demands of the actress deadpan comedy, anxiety, frustration, and menace.<\/p>\n
