{"id":629126,"date":"2026-09-19T02:06:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-19T02:06:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/629126\/"},"modified":"2026-09-19T02:06:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-19T02:06:09","slug":"gwyneth-paltrow-details-her-chris-martins-conscious-uncoupling-decision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/629126\/","title":{"rendered":"Gwyneth Paltrow Details Her, Chris Martin\u2019s &#8220;Conscious Uncoupling\u201d Decision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/gwyneth_paltrow\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/chris_martin\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Martin<\/a> consciously uncoupled for their kids.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Oscar winner revealed that she and the Coldplay frontman made a very specific decision to keep their focus on kids Apple, 22, and Moses, 20, as they <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/525005\/gwyneth-paltrow-and-chris-martin-separating-after-10-years-of-marriage\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced their separation in 2014<\/a>, which lead to their now infamous declaration of \u201cconscious uncoupling\u201d after 10 years of marriage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe really sat down and thought, \u2018Is there a way that we could do this?\u2019 Paltrow shared on a recent episode of the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/9FT4yaP5RSw?si=mOmUkvNMXtOxjs8E\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Friends Keep Secrets<\/a> podcast. \u201cBecause\u2014this is very me\u2014but when I was getting divorced, I was like, \u2018How do I do this?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The question led the 53-year-old to her friends who grew up with divorced parents, as she asked what the most difficult part was for them.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said, \u2018Tell me what was the worst thing.
