That\u2019s maybe a $40-50K investment? (He probably gets them free from Criterion tho.) I wonder how many films he watches a day? Two? Three? If <a href=\"https:\/\/extension765.com\/blogs\/soderblog\/seen-read-2025\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Soderbergh\u2019s yearly watch\/read lists<\/a> are any indication, it\u2019s probably in that ballpark.<\/p>\n<p>One surprising thing about this video: I was expecting Anderson to go for Kurosawa, Tati, Truffaut, Welles, and some other of his big influences but instead selected family friendly fare suitable for a trip. The man has a wide array of influences.
