{"id":629616,"date":"2026-09-19T13:52:13","date_gmt":"2026-09-19T13:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/629616\/"},"modified":"2026-09-19T13:52:13","modified_gmt":"2026-09-19T13:52:13","slug":"roseanne-cassidy-nee-fletcher-buncrana-highland-radio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/629616\/","title":{"rendered":"Roseanne Cassidy (n\u00e9e Fletcher), Buncrana &#8211; Highland Radio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-469754 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Obit-Template-2026-09-19T094821.996.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"828\" height=\"534\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>It is with great sadness we inform you of the passing of Roseanne Cassidy (n\u00e9e Fletcher), Buncrana, peacefully at Cornfield Care Centre, 18th September, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Beloved wife of the late John, formerly 5 Oakfield Road, Derry.<\/p>\n<p>Mother of Sally, Margaret, John, Roisin, Una, Emmett, Pearse, Columba, Edward, and the late Clare.<\/p>\n<p>Mother in-law of Ronnie, Gerry, Corinne, Roisin, Si\u00fain\u00edn and Nicola.<\/p>\n<p>A much loved and devoted grandmother and great grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Roseanne will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.<\/p>\n<p>May she rest in peace.<\/p>\n<p>Roseanne will be reposing at her daughter Margaret\u2019s home, 43 Coney Road BT48 8JP (next to Culmore Country Park) from 12pm to 9pm on Saturday (September 19th) and Sunday (September 20th).<\/p>\n<p>A service of thanksgiving will take place in River City Church, 87-89 Irish Street, BT47 2DA on Monday 21st September at 11am.<\/p>\n<p>Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Family time please on the morning of the funeral from 8.30 am to 10.25 am.<\/p>\n<p>Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
