DragonForce vocalist Marc Hudson will further step back from his role n the platinum-certified power metal band amid his ongoing issues with tinnitus. In light of the matter, Power Quest\u2018s Alessio Garavello, who has served as Hudson\u2018s vocal coach in the past, will be appearing in Hudson\u2018s place alongside Alissa White-Gluz (Blue Medusa, ex-Arch Enemy), who joined the band as a co-vocalist earlier this year.<\/p>\n
DragonForce said of the matter in a statement issued today, September 19th:<\/p>\n
\u201cDue to an ongoing issue with tinnitus, Marc Hudson is stepping back from DragonForce music duties for now including the forthcoming album and touring plans in 2026\/2027. In the meantime, he\u2019ll still very much be involved with DragonForce behind the scenes, working with the band\u2019s management on some exciting stuff you\u2019ll start seeing later this year!<\/p>\n
Joining us for the next chapter is our longtime friend and Marc\u2019s former vocal coach, Alessio Garavello. He will be handing the male vocals supporting frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz. DragonForce\u2019s forthcoming album will feature a dual-vocals format, with new songs dropping starting next week.<\/p>\n
