Speaking to reporters over video call, Janet said that when she watched the episode and saw that Pauric O wasn\u2019t banished, she was \u201cabsolutely fuming\u201d and \u201cscreaming at my telly\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do not understand how no one has questioned it, no one tried to investigate it, that DJ was the only person to question it and then he got banished.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for her murderer, Janet said traitor Pauric O is \u201cplaying such a good game\u201d and \u201cwas born to be a traitor\u201d.<\/p>\n
He was able to weave so many different stories and create unwavering support for his argument.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe fact he was able to get out of that murder in plain sight is just a testament to how brilliant of a manipulator he is at this game.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2018It was so bizarre\u2019<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, it\u2019s been revealed that other people had made accusations of being murdered in plain sight at different times in the game, but that these weren\u2019t aired on TV.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re fans of the show and we\u2019re aware of the concept of there being a murder in plain sight, but that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s going to happen to you,\u201d said Janet.<\/p>\n
But Janet was certain in that moment that she had been murdered. \u201cPauric O was very upset over Donal being banished and then it was a split-second turn and he\u2019s making me dance. It was so bizarre.\u201d<\/p>\n

But while the players are aware that a murder in plain sight could be on the cards at any moment, Janet added that \u201cthe show could just turn it upside down and not do it\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s why when I come back in the next morning I was like, \u2018I\u2019m sorry, was I wrong?\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause you just never know what\u2019s happening in this game.\u201d<\/p>\n
While Janet was murdered, it was DJ who was banished after no player seemed interested in interrogating her murder.<\/p>\n
Speaking alongside Janet, he said it was \u201cpretty disappointing\u201d that the other players didn\u2019t spend much time asking who could be responsible.<\/p>\n
\u201cI suppose everyone just came back to me because they had something slight on me from previous tables,\u201d said DJ.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s why I went for Pete because I thought Pete might have got a few votes because he went a bit mad at the last roundtable. But no one came with me and everyone went quiet.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was like, \u2018lads, come on here like\u2019. Looking back now, I think, why didn\u2019t I literally stand up in the middle of the table and just go, \u2018that man is the traitor\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

DJ noted that in other versions of The Traitors, when there is a murder in plain sight, the players recount every minute aspect of their movements, but that this didn\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n
Janet meanwhile said she couldn\u2019t understand why DJ\u2019s stating that he wasn\u2019t in the room with her only seemed to make him all the more guilty in the eyes of the players.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat was really good evidence. Who was with Janet then? Who killed her? Didn\u2019t she say something?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2018Like being late for Mass\u2019<\/p>\n
Janet also worried that the faithfuls are \u201cplaying an individual game\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had that shot of Kayleigh saying, \u2018nobody hugged me, I didn\u2019t drink any water\u2019, but she\u2019s not questioning who was hugging people, who was handing out water.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s like the hive mind has broken, which it does need to do, but they also still need to be looking around and not just being happy that it wasn\u2019t them.\u201d<\/p>\n
When asked about the pressure of being involved in the game, DJ said: \u201cIt\u2019s like if you\u2019re going to Mass on a Sunday morning and you\u2019re on time, but the next thing there\u2019s a few cattle in front of you on the road, and now you\u2019re going to be late for Mass\u2026 you tend to stress, you get a bit nervous, your demeanour changes, it\u2019s mad.\u201d<\/p>\n
DJ was also asked how it felt to see Diego cry after his vote which contributed to DJ being wrongly banished.<\/p>\n

\u201cDiego cried more over me than his own husband, Denis, which is great to see,\u201d DJ quipped.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat was really emotional, to be honest. He\u2019s a good guy, it pulled a few heartstrings, all right, to be honest.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2018People laughing at me at funerals\u2019<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, both players also find that they are being recognised on the street.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m as much a fan as they are, so I\u2019m happy to talk,\u201d said Janet, \u201cand I\u2019m also watching the show as they\u2019re watching the show.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve experienced it, but we haven\u2019t seen it, so we\u2019re equally sitting and watching these episodes, not knowing what\u2019s going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, DJ said he is now able to bring levity to otherwise serious occasions after his appearance on the show.<\/p>\n
\u201cI went to three funerals in the last few weeks, and there\u2019s a dead person inside in the coffin, and I\u2019m literally walking up to it, and people are laughing at me, having the craic, \u2018here\u2019s the traitor coming in\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut look, I think I was brought into this life to make people smile, and hopefully I\u2019ll go out that way as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, going into the funeral and having the family laughing at you during this sad time, it\u2019s special, to be honest.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cEven a funeral needs a DJ,\u201d adds Janet.<\/p>\n
DJ then remarked: \u201cIf myself and Carla walked into a funeral now, I\u2019d say the tears would turn to laughter.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that he wants to see traitor Carla win.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Janet said that while she\u2019s 100% faithful, it\u2019s \u201chard to see how the faithful can come out of this\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m hoping for a faithful win, and I\u2019m hoping that the info that I\u2019ve left marinates in the faithful soup, and they figure it out.\u201d<\/p>\n
