Another mission is in the books for the Lioness<\/a> team.<\/p>\n

The Taylor Sheridan<\/a>-created Paramount+ series follows CIA senior case officer Joe McNamara (Zoe Salda\u00f1a<\/a>), who leads a team of elite soldiers on dangerous undercover missions. But in season 3, the tables turn when Joe is abducted by an unknown enemy, sending her team on a desperate mission to bring her home.<\/p>\n

Joe’s kidnapping takes center stage throughout the season, which features familiar faces including Kaitlyn Meade (Nicole Kidman<\/a>), Neal McNamara (Dave Annable<\/a>), Edwin Mullins (Morgan Freeman<\/a>) and Byron Westfield (Michael Kelly<\/a>), alongside several new additions to the cast.<\/p>\n

In August 2026, Salda\u00f1a spoke to PEOPLE about how she’s come to admire Kidman after collaborating on the show.<\/p>\n

“I admire her,” Salda\u00f1a said of her costar. “She’s an incredibly talented woman<\/a>, but what she is first and foremost, what I love the most, is she’s a mother. She’s a daughter. She’s a sister. She’s a friend.”<\/p>\n

They aren’t the only ones who have bonded on set. The actress said that preparing for the series is “like suddenly doing a thesis in the CIA” \u2014 which is why she, Kelly and Freeman regularly run lines together.<\/p>\n
