{"id":630651,"date":"2026-09-20T17:18:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-20T17:18:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/630651\/"},"modified":"2026-09-20T17:18:10","modified_gmt":"2026-09-20T17:18:10","slug":"this-is-my-final-word-celebration-of-her-says-dianas-brother","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/630651\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;This is my final word, celebration of her&#8217;, says Diana&#8217;s brother"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"Paragraph-styles__ParagraphStyled-sc-ffb5f5ba-0 jLDVdT\">Earl Spencer, brother of Diana, Princess of Wales, said he misses his sister every day during an interview with the BBC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-styles__ParagraphStyled-sc-ffb5f5ba-0 jLDVdT\">&#8220;That&#8217;s the thing with sibling loss, you never get over it,&#8221; he told Laura Kuenssberg.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-styles__ParagraphStyled-sc-ffb5f5ba-0 jLDVdT\">His book, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, is due to be published on Tuesday and is expected to be highly critical of the Royal Family.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-styles__ParagraphStyled-sc-ffb5f5ba-0 jLDVdT\">He said one of the reasons the book is called Swan Song is because it is his &#8220;sign off&#8221; as Diana&#8217;s brother and &#8220;final take on the situation&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-styles__ParagraphStyled-sc-ffb5f5ba-0 jLDVdT\">&#8220;This is my swan song too.
