Car brand Bugatti<\/a> has revealed plans for a 60-storey skyscraper on the Miami River, which will be designed by US architecture studio Brandon Haw Architecture with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Named Bugatti Residences Miami, the development will be the car brand’s first branded residence in the US. It follows plans for its first residential skyscraper<\/a>, set to be built in Dubai, which were revealed in 2023.<\/p>\n

The tower will be the latest car-branded skyscraper to be built in the city, joining developments by luxury car brands Porsche<\/a>, Bentley<\/a>, Mercedes-Benz<\/a>\u00a0and Aston Martin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Designed by Brandon Haw Architecture<\/a>, the 60-storey skyscraper directly on the Miami River is being developed by Prosper Group<\/a> and Versluys Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Renderings of the building, released today, show a tower split into four distinct blocks, with double-height spaces between.<\/p>\n

The interiors of the 183 apartments and four penthouses will be designed by Yabu Pushelberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Bugatti, the design was informed by both the architecture of Miami and the form of supercars, with a nod to the brand’s C line \u2013 a motif used on Bugatti cars from the 1930s.<\/p>\n

“Miami’s bold architecture, creative spirit and global appeal make it a compelling setting for our next Bugatti Residences project,” said Bugatti International managing director Wiebke St\u00e5hl.<\/p>\n

“Our vision is to consider every aspect, from exquisite design to seamless service and operations, creating a branded residential experience unlike any other.”<\/p>\n

The skyscraper is planned for Miami’s Brickell neighbourhood, which is currently undergoing a wave of development. Major developments in the area include a 54-storey skyscraper designed by Foster + Partners<\/a> and a 51-storey tower by SOM<\/a>, while fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana is developing a 90-storey tower in the neighbourhood<\/a>.<\/p>\n
