Concurrent Investment Advisors, a Tampa, Fla.-based registered investment adviser platform that broke off from Raymond James in 2022, has added another Raymond James team<\/a> with the acquisition of Winstone Wealth Partners in Houston.<\/p>\n

Winstone, which was founded by CEO Jeff Green, has more than $425 million in assets under management. That brings Concurrent\u2019s total assets under management and administration to more than $23 billion and adds to the 25 advisors joining the firm in the first half of 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcoming this firm is a continued reflection of our team\u2019s commitment to building a platform where advisor entrepreneurs can scale on their own terms and keep their client relationships at the center of the business,\u201d said Concurrent CEO Nate Lenz.<\/p>\n

Green is joined by Partner Lauren Smith and advisors John Grover, Robert Burks and Dylan Daggett.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom day one, it was evident that Concurrent would empower us to build the independent firm we envision for our team and for the families we serve,\u201d Green said in a statement.<\/p>\n

The Houston-based Winston Wealth, which will keep its name, plans to grow organically and pursue inorganic growth opportunities using Concurrent\u2019s resources.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur role is to bring capabilities and strategic support to the table that strengthen firms like Winstone, without diminishing what makes them distinct,\u201d Lenz said.<\/p>\n

The addition followed a first half in which Concurrent reached $21 billion in total AUM before quickly adding another $2 billion via acquisition to its 1099 affiliation platform.<\/p>\n

During that period, Lentz said Concurrent expanded its home office with investment across onboarding, operations, compliance, investment solutions, practice synergies, centralized services, technology and advisor support.<\/p>\n

Concurrent is majority-owned by its employees, with a minority stake owned by Merchant Investment Management. The RIA also has a program to make minority investments in other RIAs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Even as Concurrent has steadily drawn former Raymond James teams, that St. Petersburg, Fla.-based firm has been winning the recruiting game more broadly.
