Christina Applegate debuted her freshly dyed hair in a new Instagram post.<\/p>\n

She credited the makeover with “brightening up [her] cloudy day.”<\/p>\n

Applegate was reportedly discharged from the hospital in August following an extended stay.<\/p>\n

Christina Applegate<\/a> freshened up her blonde tresses weeks after being discharged<\/a> from the hospital. On September 21, the actress debuted her new look in a candid Instagram<\/a> post.<\/p>\n

“Fresh hair color, new weird spot on my cheek haha thank you @davestanwell for brightening up my cloudy day. Love you and love to you all out there,” Applegate wrote.<\/p>\n

In a short clip, Applegate showed off her lightened locks, which were blown out and styled in a middle part. The Married… with Children alum kept it casual in jeans, a black zip-up hoodie, and a layered tank, as well as a stack of gold pendant necklaces.<\/p>\n

According to TMZ<\/a>, Applegate was discharged from the hospital in early August following an extended stay. The outlet reported that she was “home and doing well” amid an ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis.<\/p>\n

“She’s had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast,” a rep for Applegate told Entertainment Weekly<\/a> in April.<\/p>\n

Applegate later addressed fans’ concern<\/a> with an Instagram update in April. “Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes,” the 54-year-old wrote. “Health issues are a constant for me, but I’m a strong chick and I’m getting stronger and better every day. I’m taking a moment to focus on my health, but I’ll be back with more to say soon enough.”<\/p>\n

Applegate was diagnosed with MS in 2021, and she’s since opened up about the painful realities of living with the condition<\/a>. “If people saw what my life was like on the daily, they wouldn’t be able to do it,” she said on the podcast<\/a> “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” last year.<\/p>\n

“Because I can sometimes not do it. It’s really, really hard.”<\/p>\n
