{"id":632309,"date":"2026-09-22T09:30:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T09:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/632309\/"},"modified":"2026-09-22T09:30:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T09:30:09","slug":"taylor-swift-to-make-vmas-history-with-director-honour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/632309\/","title":{"rendered":"Taylor Swift to make VMAs history with director honour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Taylor Swift is set to become the most-awarded artist in MTV Video Music Awards history after being named the first recipient of a new honour recognising musicians for their work behind the camera.<\/p>\n<p>CBS and MTV have announced that Swift will receive the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honours at this year&#8217;s ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The new award recognises artists whose directing work has helped advance music video and visual storytelling.<\/p>\n<p>The honour will take Swift\u2019s VMA tally to 31, moving her ahead of Beyonc\u00e9.
