EastEnders\u2019 Suki Panesar-Unwin probes into her daughter Ash\u2019s personal life<\/a> next week, resulting in a bitter war of words between mother and daughter! Is their relationship set to get much worse before it gets better?<\/p>\n

Suspicious of her estranged daughter\u2019s sudden return to Walford<\/a>, Suki decides to call Ash\u2019s wife, Gigi. However, when Suki tells Eve about what she\u2019s done, Eve makes it clear she disapproves\u2026<\/p>\n

“Ash has supposedly been living the high life in Canada and loved-up with Gigi<\/a>, so Suki can\u2019t fathom why she\u2019d return to Walford \u2013 especially given the fractured nature of their mother-daughter relationship,” begins our EastEnders insider.<\/p>\n

“Eve is reproachful when she hears about Suki\u2019s phone call with Gigi and warns her against pushing for answers behind her daughter\u2019s back. But exactly what Suki discovers from Ash\u2019s wife remains to be seen\u2026”<\/p>\n

During Nugget\u2019s surprise birthday party at Harry\u2019s Barn, Suki quizzes Ash on her wife and her reason for returning. But her line of questioning causes Ash to realise that her mum has been secretly snooping into her private life! <\/p>\n

Although Vinny and Penny encourage Ash to make her peace with Suki, she stubbornly refuses.<\/p>\n

Tensions become even more strained when Suki refuses to allow her daughter to work at Panesar House Surgery, causing Ash to acquire the job by nefarious means\u2026<\/p>\n

“Nugget has inherited the doctor\u2019s surgery, so Ash goes straight to him and persuades him to hire her,” explains our source. “It\u2019s a sneaky move and a huge stab in the back for Suki.<\/p>\n

“But Ash is determined to stick around<\/a>, and she needs a job to do so \u2013 with or without her mum\u2019s help! It\u2019s unfortunate that Nugget is caught in the crossfire, but no Panesar is safe in the blistering war between Suki and Ash.”<\/p>\n

After winning Nugget round, Ash drops the bombshell on her blindsided mum that she\u2019ll be working at the surgery. Diplomatic Eve attempts to keep the peace between the sparring women, but there\u2019s more fury sparked when Suki tries to talk Nugget out of hiring Ash. <\/p>\n

However, when Denise collapses in the Square, Ash\u2019s medical instincts are activated and she leaps to her aid, putting a pin in her feud with Suki for now. <\/p>\n

Will seeing Ash do what she\u2019s best at convince Suki to let her have a job at the surgery? Or will it take more than that to thaw her frosty attitude towards her daughter?<\/p>\n
