The pair tied for first place after their cha-cha performance to Flo Rida’s “Low” on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Daniella Karagach<\/a> is in absolute awe of the crowd’s reaction to her Dancing With the Stars<\/a> partner.<\/p>\n

The pro dancer, who’s marking her seventh season on the ABC competition show, tells Entertainment Weekly that it’s been “years” since she heard the crowd cheer the way they do for Ezra Frech<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“[It’s] insane,” the season 30 champ gushed after the Sept. 22 live episode<\/a>. “I haven’t felt that in years, truly, I haven’t seen the crowd like that.”<\/p>\n

She reiterated, “I’m being totally honest with you. I have not heard that in years.”<\/p>\n

On Tuesday night, the crowd indeed went wild as Frech and Karagach concluded their cha-cha to Flo Rida’s “Low”\u00a0 by sliding into a pose on the ballroom floor. With the audience screaming, they laid on the ground, where Frech said he took in the full force of their enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

“There was a point, right when we finished the dance and I was laying on the floor, and the crowd was cheering,” Frech recounted. “I [just] got chills thinking about it. It was so loud I felt my body vibrating. I was just like, ‘Whoa.’ It was so awesome.”<\/p>\n

The track and field athlete, who was born without most of his left leg and several fingers on his left hand, also took a moment to give back some love to the disabled community for their continued support.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I love you guys. Thank you for the support, thank you for the love,” he said. “I feel so honored to represent you guys on such a beautiful stage like Dancing With the Stars, I hope I can keep making you guys proud.”<\/p>\n

Two weeks in, the two-time Paralympic gold medalist has made a huge impression on the audience and his fellow competitors. In the season premiere, Karagach and the 21-year-old earned the second-highest score of 20 out of 30 with their tango to “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, he was commended by his competition<\/a>, with Harry Shum Jr.<\/a> complimenting his control on the dance floor and Connor Wood<\/a> telling EW that if he could ask Frech anything, it would be, “How did you do that?!”<\/p>\n

In week 2, Frech and Karagach ended up in a three-way tie at the top with pairs Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov.<\/p>\n

The judges did not hold back in their praise of Frech’s performance on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

“What the Frech, man!” Carrie Ann Inaba<\/a> exclaimed afterwards. “You can move! You got that soul that runs deep! You went down and dirty in some of those moves. You demand us to watch and you demand excellence of yourself.”<\/p>\n

Derek Hough<\/a> told the athlete that he was “blown away” by the performance. “I am just in awe of you, my friend,” he continued. “I can’t wait to see what you guys do [next].”<\/p>\n

Dancing With the Stars airs live Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET\/PT on ABC and Disney+, and streams the next day on Hulu.<\/p>\n
