Rathkeale, Newcastle West and Kilmallock Fire Stations were mobilised to the incident along with the Rostered Senior Fire Officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirefighters were deployed in gas tight suits to deal with the incident.\u00a0 The incident was brought under control relatively quickly,\u201d said the spokesperson for the local authority.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They confirmed one worker on site was treated by ambulance crews for smoke inhalation. The building was evacuated.<\/p>\n<p>According to Acton Technologies website, they are a small, technically competent and financially strong specialty chemical manufacturer and processor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe manufacture chemicals for modifying the surface of fluoropolymers to enable adhesion. We also do contract processing (batch and continuous) in large or small production runs; prototypes are etched at no charge.
