With the Oasis hype once again back into overdrive with tickets going on sale for their big 2027 tour, speculation is rife about every corner of the forthcoming shows.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Liam and Noel Gallagher would be heading back out on the road for a major set of gigs next summer, kicking off in Glasgow at Celtic Park in May. Tickets will be going on sale this weekend across a series of phased time windows.

They will continue on with eleven shows at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium between June 4 and 26 before heading across Europe, the United States and Ireland. They will conclude the tour with six shows at Knebworth Park in Stevenage throughout September.

As with the comeback tour back in 2025, event faucet of the tour is now being scrutinised by fans including what the Gallaghers might wear, who will join them in the band, and, of course, what they might play.

It’s likely that nothing concrete will be officially confirmed until the first night itself on May 21, but fans have their theories – and predictions – in terms of the set list and some of the suggestions do have some credence to them.

"Oasis

When it comes to songs already performed, some big hitters including Wonderwall, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Champagne Supernova, Roll WIth It, and Don’t Look Back In Anger are likely to remain on the 2027 as there would be revolts from fans otherwise. The rest, until then, is up for debate.

For example, some fans believe Go Let It Out, from 2000’s Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, could make an appearance on the 2027 tour. The track appeared in the background of one of Oasis’s teaser clips for next year’s tour when it hinted at shows in Italy. In response, one fan said: “Go Let It Out on the setlist???”

It’s worth noting that the 2025 setlist only featured one song released after 2000 in the form of Little By Little, so there are a host of hits that have yet to be performed in nearly 17 years including Who Feels Love?, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Lyla and The Shock of the Lightning.

The Hindu Times, which was released as the lead single for Heathen Chemistry in 2002, was also cited amongst Liam in a post on social media as one of the ‘classics we need to play for you when we go out again’. He also mentioned Go Let It Out and the 1994 track Columbia, but fans know not to always trust his comments online.

"Fans

Fans have also pointed out that the 2027 tour will fall on the 30th anniversary year of the band’s third album Be Here Now, suggesting more tracks from that record could be played like Don’t Go Away and Going Nowhere.

One big hope for the 2025 tour from some fans was the performance of 2000 album track Gas Panic, and it appears to still be in high demand for next year alongside the likes of All Around The World,

Fans are also hoping the band will add their cover of The Beatles’ I Am The Walrus to the encore of the 2027 tour in similar fashion to their Maine Road and Knebworth gigs back in 1996. Those shows also featured songs like My Big Mouth and Round Are Way which could get a revival too.

Some other predictions from admirers online includes Up in the Sky, Fade In Out, Listen Up and The Importance of Being Idle. It won’t be long until fans discover what has made the cut and what hasn’t.

[8
93,226996,142285,61,60,8643,31257,24924,655
post-637711","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-entertainment","tag-etihad-stadium","tag-gig-tickets","tag-ie","tag-ireland","tag-liam-gallagher","tag-manchester-music","tag-noel-gallagher","tag-oasis
["GET
