The funeral mass to remember and celebrate Julia\u2019s life will take place at 11am on Thursday, October 9, in St Canice\u2019s Church in Finglas Village.<\/p>\n
Following the funeral mass in Ireland, Julia will be repatriated to Poland for the funeral taking place early next week. Her family were originally from there but had been living in the Heathfield estate in Finglas, Dublin, for the best part of two decades.<\/p>\n
A five-year-old Julia would have marked her sixth birthday in just a few days, which the family described as a \u201cmilestone that now feels bittersweet for all who loved her\u201d.<\/p>\n
In her death notice, Julia, who was enrolled in senior infants at a primary school in Blanchardstown, was described as a \u201cbright, happy little girl who filled every day with laughter, curiosity, and boundless energy\u201d.<\/p>\n
“Softly held in the arms of angels, safe from sorrow, pain, and tears, forever loved, forever missed, and remembered through the years.<\/p>\n
“May Julia\u2019s gentle soul rest in peace, and may she rest where no shadow falls,\u201d the notice reads.<\/p>\n
Her sudden and tragic passing has left her family and friends heartbroken, the notice added.<\/p>\n
Julia Daczkowska and her father, Krzysztof Daczkowski (50), were found dead in their home in Heathfield estate in the Cappagh area of Finglas at around 8pm on Saturday, September 27.<\/p>\n
The little girl\u2019s mother had returned home from work and made the shocking discovery.<\/p>\n
Detectives are now investigating whether Mr Daczkowski smothered his young daughter in her bedroom before taking his own life. Last month, garda\u00ed said they are \u201cnot looking for anybody else\u201d following the deaths.<\/p>\n
