There will be no foldable iPhone<\/a> on Tuesday, Sept. 9\u2014that\u2019s supposedly not coming until next year<\/a>\u2014but there will be four new iPhone 17 phones announced at Apple\u2019s \u201cAwe Dropping\u201d event<\/a>. Gizmodo\u2019s own Senior Editor of Consumer Editor, Raymond Wong, and our amazing Social Media Editor, Adriano Contreras, will be parachuting into the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park to play with the anticipated iPhone 17, 17 Air<\/a>, and 17 Pros (especially the orange one)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

New iPhones won\u2019t be the only thing they\u2019ll be getting their hands on. They\u2019ll be among the first to also check out the new Apple Watches (Series 11 and Ultra 3), as well as any new AirPods (Pro 3?<\/a>). Tim Cook could also pull a \u201cone more thing\u2026\u201d if he wants. He\u2019s CEO; he can do whatever he so desires. Wall Street would go wild if he invoked Steve Jobs\u2019 favorite phrase.<\/p>\n

The keynote starts at 1 p.m. ET \/ 10 a.m. PT, but we\u2019ll have started long before that. So grab your favorite beverage and get down in the comments section to let us know what you\u2019re most excited to see Apple announce. Or, you know, what really grinds your gears. Millions of people love new iPhones\u2014they stop their whole lives to see what\u2019s new\u2014but also, Android is doing some interesting stuff. Have you seen Samsung\u2019s gorgeous, folding Galaxy Z Fold 7<\/a>? How about Google\u2019s AI-stuffed Pixel 10 phones<\/a>? At the end of the day, the only person who should care about your phone choice is yourself. Don\u2019t let others bully you into any ecosystem.<\/p>\n
