Roy Keane has responded to Lisandro Martinez\u2019s rant about Manchester United director of football Jason Wilcox.<\/p>\n
Martinez called out Wilcox and called for more investment in United\u2019s first-team squad following the side\u2019s 2-0 loss away at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on October 13.<\/p>\n
The Argentinian did not hold back in a post-match interview at the Metropolitano, saying he expected more from \u201cupstairs\u201d despite United spending \u00a3155million on four summer signings \u2013 Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos, Carlos Baleba and Karl Darlow.<\/p>\n

I have to be honest. And also, as a player, we have to do more.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s also important to build a strong squad to be ready for this kind of night.\u201d<\/p>\n Martinez has risked a potential fine or even suspension for his comments while defending head coach Michael Carrick.<\/p>\n \u201cHe does his best,\u201d he said about Carrick.<\/p>\n \u201cBut every season is different. You can\u2019t stay with what you did last season.<\/p>\n \u201cThe teams know how you play; they know every detail. If you don\u2019t change, next season is a big problem.<\/p>\n \u201cYou start changing, changing, changing managers.
