Ana Navarro definitely did not approve of Prince Harry\u2019s recent plea for reconciliation<\/a> with his brother, Prince William. <\/p>\n

On Wednesday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe View,\u201d the co-hosts discussed the Duke of Sussex\u2019s GQ interview<\/a>, published Tuesday, where he insisted that resolving his issues with his sibling is the \u201cmost important thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that a lot of the problem has been exacerbated by the fact that it\u2019s been played out in public<\/a>. So much of the dirty laundry has been aired out in public. Surely, they have relatives in common, friends in common,\u201d Navarro, 54, said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just think that if he had delivered that message privately right now, it might go further than continuing to do it publicly, because there\u2019s been a breach of trust, and there\u2019s been a lot of hurt on both sides,\u201d Navarro continued. <\/p>\n

The commentator said their fallout should have been dealt with away from the public eye.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt needs to be dealt with privately, not with interviews and tell-all books and selling documentaries and things like that,\u201d Navarro said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt some point he\u2019s going to need to pick up the phone or go see his brother and have it out,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

However, co-host Sunny Hostin pointed out she \u201csuspects\u201d Harry, 42, has previously tried to do so.<\/p>\n

\u201cI suspect one of the reasons he is publicly saying he wants to reconcile is so that they hear it,\u201d Hostin, 58, theorized.<\/p>\n

Whoopi Goldberg, who knows the \u201cSpare<\/a>\u201d author personally, admitted that she believes the siblings will eventually make peace with each other.<\/p>\n

The host\u2019s commentary comes after Harry told GQ that he wanted to work things out with his brother.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want it to work out. Of course I do,\u201d Harry said, while noting that \u201csome people don\u2019t want it to work out.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said that with everything happening in the world, reconciliation is \u201cthe key point,\u201d and said that he \u201cgrieves\u201d his estrangement from William.<\/p>\n

The two siblings have been estranged after a series of public allegations made by Harry<\/a> and his wife, Meghan Markle, against the royal family. <\/p>\n

In 2021, Markle and Harry sat down for a tell-all interview with Oprah, where she claimed an unnamed royal family member had raised concerns about the color of their now-7-year-old son, Prince Archie\u2019s skin.<\/p>\n

She also claimed that she struggled with her mental health,<\/a> including suicidal thoughts. <\/p>\n

The couple made even more allegations against the family in their 2022 Netflix documentary, \u201cHarry and Meghan,\u201d as well as in Harry\u2019s 2023 memoir, \u201cSpare.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

In the book, Harry branded his brother as his \u201carchnemesis\u201d <\/a>and claimed that his sibling had physically attacked him.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, despite their estrangement, Page Six exclusive revealed that Harry and Markle have returned to England<\/a> with their two children, Archie, 7, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 5.<\/p>\n

The couple moved back to be closer to Harry\u2019s dad, King Charles, and to ensure their kids were close to their family.<\/p>\n
