Real Madrid claimed a third Champions League<\/a> victory in as many games by thrashing RB Leipzig 4-1 on Wednesday, with Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 and Yan Diomande among the goals for Jos\u00e9 Mourinho\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

Bernardo Silva opened the scoring for Madrid from close range towards the end of a tight first half, with Arda Guler doubling the record 15-time European champions\u2019 advantage soon after the interval.<\/p>\n

Mbapp\u00e9 bent home a third before Tidiam Gomis pulled one back for the German side and Diomande rammed a volley into the top corner to cap Madrid\u2019s triumph late on.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know every point is important to get into the top eight, we know we have to win as many games as possible \u2013 we\u2019ve won three and there are five to go,\u201d Mbapp\u00e9 said. The France forward, who hopes to win the Ballon d\u2019Or next week<\/a>, has netted in each of Madrid\u2019s Champions League matches this season and has 12 goals in 12 games.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m doing well [but] I think I can do more,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m one of the few players who always has to demand more from himself … right now it\u2019s a good moment, but we have to keep going and I have to do more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lask launched an impressive comeback at Sporting to earn their first Champions League win of the season. The Austrian champions went behind when Luis Su\u00e1rez scored from the spot after five minutes, but equalised 10 minutes later through Christoph Lang.<\/p>\n

The visitors then stunned the Est\u00e1dio Jos\u00e9 Alvalade as Sasa Kalajdzic and Krystof Danek put them 3-1 up, the former rounding off a smart team move and the latter firing in at the near post. Su\u00e1rez scored again for the hosts late on, but it was not enough.<\/p>\n

Galatasaray swept past Lille at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, setting the tone with a goal after two minutes from Yunus Akgun.<\/p>\n

Lille levelled the score via Soriba Diaoune, who then put them 2-1 up in the 39th minute. Aleksey Batrakov made it 2-2 just before half-time, however, before an own goal from Nabil Bentaleb and Victor Osimhen, in action against his former club, sealed a 4-2 victory.<\/p>\n

Inter had Alessandro Bastoni sent off midway through the second half before Carlos Augusto\u2019s late goal secured a 1-0 win at home to Shakhtar Donetsk, as the Italian champions got their first points of the league phase.<\/p>\n

Real Betis, who beat Feyenoord 1-0 via a penalty kick from Isco, made it three from three in the Champions League to extend their strong start to the season.<\/p>\n

Betis had the lion\u2019s share of the chances, but only broke the deadlock when Jeremiah St Juste was adjudged to have handled in the box. Isco stepped up and fired low into the right-hand corner for what proved to be the winner.<\/p>\n

Club Brugge defeated Lens 3-0 at the Jan Breydel Stadium in a ruthless home performance.
