<\/p>\nEarthsong is where that idea takes form. Rooted in Van Vaibhav, Good Earth\u2019s founding philosophy of the splendour of nature, it centres on a sculptural concrete table that carries a stream of water beneath a generous skylight. Hand-painted vines climb the walls, while antique mirrors and verdigris metal lend a patina of age. To Lambah, the room reads like a page from an Enid Blyton book, a small wonder world, and its ceiling of light and water is the detail she is proudest of.<\/p>\n
The room also carries a quiet sense of continuity. The chiks were crafted by the grandson of the artisan who made them for Good Earth\u2019s Santushti store 30 years ago, and the rock inscriptions and Tibetan pieces are by Vineet Kacker, who was present at the brand\u2019s first boutique in 1996. \u201cHaving his work here closes a circle for me,\u201d says Lal. \u201cIt brings the very beginning of Good Earth into its thirtieth year.\u201d<\/p>\n

From there, the store turns to the home. Verandah gathers fine linens, block-printed textiles and furniture behind a sculptural metal jali and a dramatic wall of mirrors. Next door, Living is given over to entertaining, with custom wallpapers, glass wall art and statement chandeliers framing tableware, metalware and hand-painted papier-m\u00e2ch\u00e9.<\/p>\n
Much of what is on display, from crockery and serveware to vintage mirrors, bespoke furniture and textiles, is exclusive to Gurgugram. Because the store has room to spare, each piece is placed within a composed setting rather than on a shelf, so it can be seen the way it is meant to be lived with.<\/p>\n
