noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/news\/arid-41912746.html\">head-on crash in Co Kildare<\/a> have praised the public for its \u201cincredible kindness and compassion\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Sisters Ella Hendricken, Niamh Kinsella and Alma Kinsella, who are in their 20s and 30s, and a young boy were seriously injured when a car crashed head-on into their vehicle in August.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The family had been travelling to Dublin Airport for a holiday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Five teenagers in the other car, which was travelling the wrong way along the M9 motorway, died in the collision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">They were Joe Carthy, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/news\/arid-41901487.html\">Jack Kennedy<\/a>, Alex McCarthy, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/news\/arid-41900785.html\">Jeremy O\u2019Brien<\/a> and Kamil Pustkowski.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A GoFundMe campaign set up to raise money for the sisters has raised more than \u20ac833,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In an online update posted on Thursday, the sisters thanked their family, friends and the public for their \u201cgenerosity, your prayers, your well wishes and for helping us through one of the most difficult chapters of our lives\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"
