It\u2019s episode four of The Traitors Ireland on RT\u00c9 1, and paranoia is rising, alliances are wobbling, and Siobh\u00e1n McSweeney\u2019s wardrobe is still giving (me anyway) more entertainment than the actual missions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Michele got banished, and the traitors are wobbling like a toddler after a slug of gripe water.<\/p>\n

The Breakfast Club is always the first test of the nerves, and when the group figures out Michele is gone, suspicion starts growing around Linda, no thanks to Faye\u2019s little digs.<\/p>\n

Christine goes full saucy Cork. It\u2019s a common enough phenomenon, The neck goes out like a pigeon on Pana, the eyes blaze, and the accent veers to Northside: \u201cWhich wan of ye got rid of Michele? Honestly now, like, that\u2019s just cruueeel\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"MicheleMichele is gone.<\/p>\n

In my head, she adds, \u201cI\u2019ll claim ye all,\u201d but she refrains, or else they cut it in the edit.<\/p>\n

I feel Traitor Katelyn overplays it at breakfast. Just because you have two little ponytails on either side of your face, Katelyn, like Angelica Pickles from the Rugrats, doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019re that cute.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Oh, Jesus, never mind Katelyn, here\u2019s Siobh\u00e1n, and we can see her neck!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Is it just me or does she seem more muted than usual? She looks like she\u2019s been out all night on the razzmatazz and is hanging for an Anadin Plus.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She\u2019s wearing a STUNNING kimono, but with the minimal make-up and mussed hair, she looks like she threw on a dressing gown to answer the door to the DPS man because she didn\u2019t want a package behind the bins again.<\/p>\n

Then comes the mission, and they bundle into the cars for a good old bitch.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Christine reveals she trusts Paudie because he reminds her of her father. \u201cME TOO!\u201d says Andrew, delighted.\u00a0<\/p>\n

That\u2019s because he is actually YOUR DADDY, you toolbox! I\u2019m shouting at the screen again.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I feel like someone in Slane Castle should be getting the carer\u2019s allowance for Andrew. Honestly, how is he holding it all together?<\/p>\n

\"Siobh\u00e1nSiobh\u00e1n McSweeney with Paudie.<\/p>\n

The mission is in a creepy church, with masked figures perched in the pews.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Siobh\u00e1n leans into it, with a dearly beloved intro and some mad hand-organ coordinated gestures.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The challenge involves deciphering clues to find hidden gold.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a total of \u20ac4,000 \u2014 and a twist.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The person who brings in the gold to Siobh\u00e1n (they have to kneel in front of her, which is only fitting) gets offered a deal\u00a0 \u2014 \u20ac800 banked, or they swap it for a protective shield.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cue the moral panic.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Christine really draws it out, \u2018Ooh God, this is so hard\u2019 (such blasphemy and double entendre in a place of worship!), then bursts into tears as she tells her team she took the dosh.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She does so with the kind of smug self-congratulation I recognise from the time I was 10 and refused a Macaroon bar because it was Lent.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Paudie and Patrick are winding each other up, with Patrick piously accusing his team of overcomplicating the clues.<\/p>\n

He is getting on my candle wick, that fella.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Everyone starts clocking the shield offer could reveal a m\u00e9-f\u00e9iner, with Paudie practically levitating when he realises Katelyn never revealed the offer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really upset about this because I am a Fuhfuhfaithful,\u201d she blubs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Oh, she is good. The lip is wobbling, and her nose is giving Blair Witch Project vibes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Surely she\u2019ll be voted off? She might as well have a neon blinking TRAITOR sign around her neck.<\/p>\n

With the pot at \u20ac17,800 \u2014 just enough to buy Siobh\u00e1n\u2019s bejewelled headband, I\u2019d say (it\u2019s only GORGE), the round table mania kicks off.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Eamon comes gunning for fellow Traitor Paudie, with crybaba Katelyn backing him up.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But Linda gets banished.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"LindaLinda has been banished.<\/p>\n

The group falls asunder as she reveals she\u2019s an ally.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And in the shadows, the three Traitors meet to feck each other out of it, and come up with their next victim.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Life and death may be at stake, but I\u2019m just waiting for Andrew to skin his knee in a mission and run to Paudie for a magic kiss and special hug.<\/p>\n
