who is set to play Dublin’s Marlay Park on Thursday, 1 July 2027 as part of his Proper Massive Stadium Tour ’27 which was announced earlier this week, <\/a>made the claim when replying to an Instagram post, which claimed tickets would cost up to \u00a3130.75 (\u20ac156) for standing.<\/p>\nIn his reply, Fender said: “I\u2019m not happy with these prices, they\u2019re getting changed.<\/p>\n
“It got inflated well more than I\u2019d had in mind, it should only be inflated in relation to the cost of putting the show on.<\/p>\n
“The standing will not be split as well, I had no idea about it. I have no idea how this was normalised in gigs.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s ******** and it won\u2019t be happening on this tour.”<\/p>\n
The post by an Instagram user called Gavin Davis, claimed standing tickets at Wembley Stadium would be split into “front standing”, costing \u00a3130.75 (\u20ac156), and “standing”, which was priced at \u00a398.85 ((\u20ac117).<\/p>\n
It also said ticket prices for seating would range between \u00a364.75 (\u20ac77) and \u00a3130.75 ((\u20ac156) at the venue.<\/p>\n
North Shields-born Fender will also perform at Newcastle\u2019s St James\u2019s Park, Cardiff\u2019s Principality Stadium, Dublin\u2019s Marley Park, Edinburgh\u2019s Murrayfield Stadium, and Manchester\u2019s Etihad Stadium as part of the run.<\/p>\n
The post claimed the highest ticket price in Newcastle was \u00a3112.90 (\u20ac134), the top price in Cardiff was \u00a3119 (\u20ac142), and the highest price in Edinburgh was \u00a3120.95 (\u20ac144).<\/p>\n
It said the top price in Manchester was \u00a3119.60 (\u20ac142), and did not have information for the Dublin gig.<\/p>\n
