{"id":665129,"date":"2026-10-25T18:08:11","date_gmt":"2026-10-25T18:08:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/665129\/"},"modified":"2026-10-25T18:08:11","modified_gmt":"2026-10-25T18:08:11","slug":"united-ua771-to-beijing-is-reporting-a-technical-issue-and-returning-to-lax","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/665129\/","title":{"rendered":"United UA771 to Beijing is reporting a technical issue and returning to LAX"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LOS ANGELES \u2014 A United Airlines flight bound for Beijing was forced to interrupt its transpacific journey shortly after departure and return to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) due to an emerging technical issue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">United Flight <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airnavradar.com\/flight\/UA771\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">UA771<\/a>, operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (registration N24988), took off from LAX shortly before 1:00 a.m. local time on what was scheduled to be a nearly 17-hour flight across the Pacific to Beijing Capital International Airport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, as the aircraft was making its initial ascent, the crew stopped the climb at 28,000 feet.
