Tracy Morgan will be joined by a pair of “30 Rock”\u00a0pals this season on “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.”<\/p>\n

Jane Krakowski has signed on to guest-star in a Season 2 episode of Morgan’s NBC comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, along with fellow “30 Rock” alum Scott Adsit. Krakowski will play\u00a0Angela Broyer, “northern New Jersey’s interior decorator to the stars,”\u00a0while Adsit will play\u00a0Ed Sommers, who\u00a0“always plays Santa in the neighborhood Christmas tree lighting ceremony.” (Krakowski and Adsit played Jenna and Pete on “30 Rock,”\u00a0alongside Morgan’s Tracy Jordan.)\u00a0<\/p>\n

Also guest-starring in Season 2:\u00a0Edi Patterson (“The Righteous Gemstones”), as HOA head Lisa; Jason\u00a0Mantzoukas (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”), as music producer Peter Za; and Andr\u00e9\u00a0De Shields\u00a0(“Elsbeth”) as Arthur’s documentary mentor Vernon Bellow.<\/p>\n

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (“Game of Thrones”) will star in “The Black Tapes,” an eight-episode supernatural horror series ordered at MGM+. Based on the hit podcast, the series will star\u00a0Coster-Waldau as psychiatrist\u00a0Dr. Richard Strand, who teams up with a scientist “to debunk paranormal cases of hauntings, possessions, disappearances, and sinister legends \u2014 the infamous black tapes.”
\nOscar winner Amy Madigan (“Weapons”)\u00a0has joined Viola Davis<\/a> and Sam Heughan<\/a> in the cast of the Paramount+\u00a0thriller “Ascent.”\u00a0She’ll play Rachel,\u00a0a former executive at Ascent Ventures and the lifelong mentor of Davis’ character\u00a0Catriona.
\nHulu’s drama pilot “Young Americans,” co-starring Scott Foley<\/a>, has added five to its cast, per Deadline<\/a>:\u00a0Billie Boullet (“A Small Light”), Sam Rechner (“Heartbreak High”), Mia Isaac (“The Perfect Couple”), newcomer Oscar Winter, and Lauren Mei (“Summer Camp Island”).
\nBill Nighy (“Ride or Die”) has joined Caitr\u00edona Balfe<\/a> in the cast of Alfonso Cuar\u00f3n’s Apple TV series “Ascension,”\u00a0Variety<\/a> reports. The series stars\u00a0Balfe as a documentary filmmaker who begins following a mysterious cult and “finds unexpected refuge in its teachings \u2013 until she discovers something far more insidious beneath.”<\/p>\n
