\n\tBrazil\u2019s consumer protection agency is demanding answers from Live Nation about reduced screen configurations for the South American leg of BTS<\/a>\u2019 blockbuster ARIRANG world tour.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe country\u2019s National Consumer Secretariat, known as Senacon, sent an inquiry to Live Nation Brasil and Ticketmaster Brasil ahead of BTS\u2019 planned shows at S\u00e3o Paulo\u2019s Est\u00e1dio do MorumBIS on Wednesday (Oct. 28), Friday (Oct. 30) and Saturday (Oct. 31). These are the final South America shows of the ARIRANG tour, which has grossed more than $500 million<\/a> worldwide since kicking off in April. The trek goes to Asia next and runs through 2027.<\/p>\n

\n\tBTS fans have been complaining on social media that the tour\u2019s South American leg, which has already hit Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina, features only four stage screens instead of the 12 that were included on other continents. Some ARMY members brought these complaints to Brazil\u2019s Senacon, leading to the Live Nation inquiry last Thursday (Oct. 22).<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe problem lies in the way tickets are being sold and the information being provided about the stage setup,\u201d said Brazil\u2019s National Consumer Secretary Ricardo Morishita in a statement Friday (Oct. 23). \u201cWe know that consumer law guarantees both transparency and accurate, clear information.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSenacon is asking Live Nation to clarify the audiovisual structure for the tour\u2019s Latin American leg, including whether it creates visibility issues for audience members in certain far-back areas of the stadium. The agency also wants to know why the screen structure was changed for Latin America and whether it was accurately advertised to ticket buyers ahead of time. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tLive Nation Brasil said in a statement on Monday (Oct. 26) that the stage setup for BTS\u2019 South American leg is \u201cexactly as shown on the official event map published when ticket sales opened in April 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe setup also includes a video system with four LED screens integrated into the central tower, facing all sides of the stadium for a 360-degree experience,\u201d continued Live Nation\u2019s statement, originally released in Portuguese. \u201cThis production differs from other regions due to logistical and scheduling constraints, which were essential to bring the tour to as many fans as possible across the region.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLive Nation has a booking agreement running through 2031 with MorumBIS Stadium, which is owned by S\u00e3o Paulo FC. Expansion in Latin America has been a major priority<\/a> for the global live music company in recent years. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tReps for HYBE, the Korean music giant behind BTS, did not immediately return a request for comment on Tuesday (Oct. 27).
