U2<\/a> have announced details of the UK and European leg of their 2027 \u2018The Greatest Show On Earth\u2019 world stadium tour. Check out dates and ticket details below.<\/p>\n

The Irish rock icons, soon to release their long-awaited 16th album \u2018Carnaval De Luz<\/a>\u2018, this month announced a run of shows in South America<\/a> for next year \u2013 promising more dates would follow.<\/p>\n

Now, as well as adding extra shows in Mexico City, S\u00e3o Paulo and Buenos Aires due to popular demand, Bono<\/a> and co have announced that they\u2019ll be visiting Stockholm, Amsterdam, Berlin, Lisbon, Milan, and London with support at all shows from Wolf Alice<\/a>. They\u2019ve promised that dates in Ireland, Spain and North America will be announced \u201csoon\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t say too much about the next leg of \u2018The Greatest Show On Earth\u2019 \u2013 we\u2019re still figuring it out,\u201d teased guitarist The Edge<\/a>, \u201cbut what we can say is, we\u2019ll be wrapping it up in Ireland. There\u2019s nowhere else we\u2019d want to be for that party.\u201d<\/p>\n

The band added: \u201c\u2019The Greatest Show on Earth\u2019? Now that\u2019s a throwdown. It\u2019s a dare, to ourselves as much as anyone, to try and have the best night of anybody\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

\u201cA bit of showman, a bit of shaman, a riot of colour, unreasonable guitar, bass and drums, and tunes you can hold onto. Because if people are gonna show up, we certainly are.\u201d<\/p>\n

The band have recently been in rehearsals for the stadium run with drummer Larry Mullen Jr.<\/a>, who took a live hiatus from the band after undergoing neck and back surgery in 2023<\/a>, and subsequently sitting out of U2\u2019s residency shows at the Las Vegas Sphere.<\/p>\n

He rejoined U2 last month for two surprise homecoming gigs in Dublin<\/a> to mark the band\u2019s 50th anniversary. They\u2019ll also be playing an intimate London gig for the BBC<\/a> next week.<\/p>\n

U2 release \u2018Carnaval De Luz\u2019 on November 13. The album features the late, great Dolly Parton\u2019s last ever recorded vocal<\/a> on \u2018Torn\u2019, as well as \u2018The Mirror Maker\u2019 written in tribute to Rosal\u00eda<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Produced by Jacknife Lee<\/a>, the 12-song collection tackles themes of spirituality, friendship, freedom and endurance, and comes on the heels of the group releasing two six-track EPs earlier this year: \u2018Days Of Ash\u2019<\/a> and \u2018Easter Lily\u2019<\/a>. They\u2019ve so far shared three singles with \u2018Street Of Dreams<\/a>\u2018, \u2018Silencio<\/a>\u2019, and \u2018The Greatest Show On Earth\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n
