Stephanie Burnette, an author based in the Upstate, will promote her first book, \u201c100 Things to Do in Greenville,\u201d with a stop at Soby\u2019s in Greenville.<\/p>\n
Reedy Press, the book\u2019s publisher, reached out to Burnette to craft a book focusing on 100 things to experience and places to visit around Greenville County at various times of the year. Some of the work\u2019s highlights include the TD Saturday Market<\/a>, Liberty Bridge, Falls Park<\/a>, the Westin Poinsett Hotel<\/a>, euphoria<\/a> and the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think some people would say \u2018this book is a bucket list,\u2019\u201d Burnette said. \u201cI don\u2019t know if it as much of a bucket list. If you did some of those 100 things, you are going to go someplace new, learn something new, but also enjoy how special Greenville really is.\u201d<\/p>\n While researching the book, Burnette, who has lived in Greenville since 1998, reached out to locals to ensure she wasn\u2019t missing anything.<\/p>\n \u201cI have written so many articles and listicles that this kind of felt like the longest listicle of my life,\u201d Burnette said. \u201cIt was shockingly easy to produce once I sat down and got the 100 things.
