A Donegal woman will be the presenter of a brand new series on TG4, that explores motherhood, love, purpose, health, and the pressure to have all the answers to everything.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Caoimhe N\u00ed Chathail will front a new series called Spriocanna Saoil, that airs on TG4 on Wednesday, November 11th.<\/p>\n

The burning question at the heart of the new four-part documentary series is ‘What if we’re not supposed to have it all sorted by 30?<\/p>\n

The 32 year-old presenter was born in Donegal, but is now based permanently in Belfast.<\/p>\n

N\u00ed Chathail has started asking herself a number of questions such as, should she be thinking about having children? Is there such a thing as meeting the right person at the right time?<\/p>\n

Should she know what her purpose in life is by now? And when it comes to looking after herself, is going to the gym really enough?<\/p>\n

Across the four episodes, N\u00ed Chathail takes these questions into the real world, meeting people whose lives have taken very different paths and exploring some of the expectations we place on ourselves, often without stopping to ask why.<\/p>\n

Filmed across Derry, Belfast, Dublin, Achill Island, Galway, Dingle and Donegal, the series brings together honest conversations and personal experiences, with N\u00ed Chathail reflecting on her own life and the choices she faces along the way.<\/p>\n

The first episode explores the pressure on women to become mothers and the idea that they should have children by a certain age.<\/p>\n

N\u00ed Chathail meets women who have taken very different paths to parenthood, including those who have chosen not to have children and have built fulfilling lives of their own.<\/p>\n

The series then turns to love and relationships, asking how do you know when you\u2019ve met \u2018the one\u2019.<\/p>\n

From those who have found lasting love to those who embrace single life, these conversations offer a thoughtful exploration of the many paths life can take, challenging conventional expectations of how life should unfold.<\/p>\n

The third programme looks at purpose and direction, meeting people who have changed course, discovered new passions later in life or realised that what they wanted in their twenties wasn\u2019t necessarily what they wanted in their thirties or beyond.<\/p>\n

The final episode explores health and wellbeing, asking what it really means to look after ourselves and feel well, not just physically, but in the context of our everyday lives.<\/p>\n

There are no easy answers in Spriocanna Saoil, and that\u2019s part of its appeal.<\/p>\n

Life rarely unfolds according to a perfect plan. For some, it will mean becoming a parent; for others, choosing a different path. Some will find love early in life, while others will meet a partner much later.<\/p>\n

And while some will discover their purpose from an early age, others will take a more winding route, finding new directions and redefining their ambitions along the way.<\/p>\n

Through these conversations, and her own reflections, N\u00ed Chathail asks whether we might be happier if we stopped measuring our lives against someone else\u2019s timeline.<\/p>\n

“Perhaps we don\u2019t need to have everything sorted.
