Speaking previously about Clare, Ryan told Kathryn Thomas on her podcast: ‘If you met Clare, you’ll know why. I tell you what, I’ll be honest with you, I keep a lot to myself. I don’t share too much. If you met Clare, you’ll know why.

Life is not linear, and when someone is there for all the bits, the good bits, the bad bits, the ups, the downs, the highs, the lows, and doesn’t waver, how could you not want to have that person in your life forever?,’ Ryan gushed.

‘I don’t want to overdo it and be that person boring everyone about how happy they are, but it’s just a lovely twist in the tale, and it makes perfect sense.’
