Your phone gets a shiny new Android update, but your car suddenly wants nothing to do with it. That\u2019s the frustrating situation some Samsung Galaxy owners are facing after installing One UI 9<\/a>, with reports of Android Auto<\/a> refusing to connect or repeatedly dropping connections. The complaints have now caught Google\u2019s attention, although the cause remains a mystery.<\/p>\n

The problem isn\u2019t limited to one Galaxy model. In a Samsung Community thread<\/a>, a Galaxy S26 owner reported that Android Auto stopped working after updating to One UI 9. Re-pairing devices, clearing app data, and switching to a wired connection did nothing.
