\n\tJennifer Lawrence<\/a> is channeling the excitement of her return<\/a> to The Hunger Games<\/a> franchise to encourage her followers to vote in the 2026 midterms.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Oscar winner shared a photo of herself on her Instagram Story Tuesday doing the iconic three-finger salute from the film franchise while also referencing one of her lines from the films, writing, \u201cMidterms bb. Don\u2019t forget who burns with us.\u201d She also shared a link to Vote.org in the social post.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the third Hunger Games movie, Mockingjay \u2013 Part 1, Lawrence\u2019s character Katniss Everdeen says in a promotional video for the rebel cause, \u201cYou can torture us and bomb us and burn our districts to the ground. But do you see that? Fire is catching, and if we burn, you burn with us!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLawrence was photographed<\/a> doing the three-finger salute on Tuesday\u2019s election day in New York City, also sporting a braid like her beloved former character of Katniss. <\/p>\n

\n\tLast Wednesday, the actress confirmed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she\u2019d appear in the upcoming prequel film Sunrise on the Reaping alongside original stars Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson. Of returning to the Hunger Games franchise, she said the experience was \u201cunbelievable. It was so crazy because it was the same crew. It was the same camera guys, the same AD, who I\u2019ve worked with a million times \u2026 and Josh and Woody and it was so emotional. Like Josh and I like didn\u2019t walk to the bathroom without our arms around each other. It was so beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLawrence\u2019s midterms post follows that of an interview she gave last November, where she questioned<\/a> if she should speak out against Trump after being vocal about her political stance during his first term.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t really know if I should,\u201d Lawrence told The New York Times<\/a> on its The Interview podcast<\/a> about speaking out against Trump and politics. \u201cDuring the first Trump administration, I felt like I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. But as we\u2019ve learned, election after election, celebrities do not make a difference whatsoever on who people vote for. So then what am I doing? I\u2019m just sharing my opinion on something that\u2019s going to add fuel to a fire that\u2019s ripping the country apart. We are so divided.\u201d<\/p>\n
