Ian\u2019s Cookie Jar is new to this year\u2019s Bryant Park holiday market, and Babka Bailout is back for another winter. Spice Professors and Baked by Melissa also have booths and sell kosher certified packaged products. All four are in the Holiday Shops by Urbanspace at the Bank of America Winter Village, which opened on October 28 and runs through January 3, 2027.<\/p>\n

Ian\u2019s Cookie Jar<\/p>\n

Ian\u2019s Cookie Jar\u2019s Bryant Park stand is kosher certified<\/a>. The business sells thin chocolate chip cookies with crisp edges and soft centers, and sells them by the bucket. Four friends started it: food creator Ian Martin, chef Danielle Sepsy, Aaron Ratner and Deon Whiskey. They spent six months on the recipe.<\/p>\n

The business first opened at the Macy\u2019s Herald Square Holiday Market in the winter of 2025. The Bucket is the stand\u2019s main item, and cookies are baked in the stand\u2019s own ovens.<\/p>\n

Babka Bailout<\/p>\n

Babka Bailout is a Jersey City bakery that returns to Bryant Park for a third winter. It opened its first stand at the market in 2024<\/a>. Michal Prevor started the bakery in May 2020, during the pandemic, baking babkas to raise money for a friend who had lost her income.<\/p>\n

The stand sells Babka Pops and babka buns. The buns come in flavors such as Ube Nutella Oreo, Cinnamon and Dubai Chocolate. The online shop lists babka flavors including cinnamon sugar, dulce de leche, Nutella ganache, Nutella Oreo, PB Reese\u2019s and cereal milk.<\/p>\n

Kosher Certified Packaged Products<\/p>\n

Spice Professors<\/p>\n

Spice Professors sells spices and tea blends. OK Kosher Certification lists its products<\/a> as pareve, including spices and teas such as Raspberry Verbeena, Ginger Green Tea, Earl Grey and BBQ Delight.<\/p>\n

Baked by Melissa<\/p>\n

Baked by Melissa sells bite-size cupcakes. Its pre-packaged assortments are sealed with the OK-D symbol<\/a>, which means OK certified dairy. Only the sealed packages are certified. Its stores and its loose Pick Your Flavors cupcakes are not kosher certified.<\/p>\n

The Bryant Park Holiday Market<\/p>\n

Urbanspace runs the Holiday Shops as a European-style open-air market of small kiosks along the park\u2019s paths and terraces. The Winter Village around them also has The Rink for ice skating and The Lodge, a bar and food hall. The rink and The Lodge stay open through February 28.<\/p>\n

Hours, Locations And Certification<\/p>\n

The Holiday Shops are open from October 28, 2026 through January 3, 2027, between 40th and 42nd Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues in Manhattan. Shops are open Monday to Friday from 11am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 8pm. On Thanksgiving the hours are 11am to 8pm. On Christmas Day they are noon to 5pm. On New Year\u2019s Eve they are 10am to 8pm, and on New Year\u2019s Day they are 11am to 8pm. Many shops stay open later on peak dates.<\/p>\n

Ian\u2019s Cookie Jar is at booth W22, in the southern part of the West section, south of Lowell Fountain, in the group of booths W19 to W23. Its Bryant Park booth is kosher certified by National Kosher Supervision (NKS)<\/a>. The certification does not cover the business\u2019s online orders or other locations.<\/p>\n

Babka Bailout is at booth S10, in the South section on the 40th Street side of the rink, in the row of booths S7 to S12 that faces the Skating Pavilion, with booths S11 and S12 between it and the Park Shop and the rink exit. The stand is kosher certified by CMS Kashrus under Rabbi Netanel Reed of Congregation Mount Sinai of Jersey City Heights. Its certificate covers all foods produced and prepared at its Jersey City bakery. All items are dairy (Cholov Stam) or parve with challah taken. The certification is for all year, excluding Passover, and expires on September 1, 2027.<\/p>\n

Spice Professors is at booth W35, just north of Lowell Fountain, at the northeast end of the diagonal group W32 to W35, nearest The Chalet. Its spices and teas are certified by OK Kosher Certification.<\/p>\n

Baked by Melissa is at booth W13, in the West section just southwest of Lowell Fountain, in the group W12 to W16 between the fountain and Sixth Avenue. Its sealed packages are certified OK-D by OK Kosher Certification.<\/p>\n
